Presently, the
Head Office of the University is located at
House No. 21, Road No. 9/A,
Dhanmondi R/A, Dhaka-1209
Bangladesh,
but its academic programmes are being carried out in different campuses scattered over Dhanmondi, Uttara and Savar.

In the very near future, the University is expected to build two campuses of its own, one for the Head Office and the other at our Saver Campus. The Head Office situated on 20 Kathas of land is expected to be expanded into a sky-rise building in order to accommodate its 2 (out of 3) faculties viz., Faculty of Human Sciences and Faculty of Natural Sciences along with the institutes attached to them.

The Savar Campus (the eventual home of DIU) is located at Savar, about 30 km from Dhaka City, the capital of Bangladesh. It has an area measuring about 13 acres of land, located at Balibhadra, about 41/2 km from Jatio Smriti Showdha (National Memorial) adjacent to Savar-Kaliakor Road to the west. The area is surrounded by different educational, research and training institutions such as Jahanginagar University, Atomic Energy Commission, Krira Sikkha Protisthan, two EPZ establishments and above all, by evergreen meadows, foliage, creeks and lakes. A huge 25,000 sft two-storied building known as the Mosque Complex has already been constructed with some sheds around it in order to accommodate the Madrasah Tahfizul Quranil Karim, presently a separate project of Darul Ihsan Trust. Apart from completing the four-storied Mosque Complex, a students hostel is planned to be erected in the near future. Under its expansion programme, the University has recently hired a huge prime floor space to accommodate its Faculty of Natural Sciences in Dhanmondi.
